| Description: |
On Wednesday, February 4th, CAA will be leading a discussion with newly-elected San Francisco Board of Supervisors President David Chiu, Supervisor Carmen Chu, and Supervisor Eric Mar.
As Barack Obama begins his historic presidency, and they start their terms on the first ‘majority minority’ San Francisco Board of Supervisors, we want to hear them share their thoughts on the changing complexion of political leadership. How will traditionally marginalized groups fare? What does this mean for civil rights and social change advocacy? How can diverse communities come together for common cause? |
