Supporters Gather to Celebrate Opening of Eric Mar for Supervisor Campaign Headquarters

On Saturday July 19th, supporters gathered to celebrate the grand opening of the Eric Mar for Supervisor Campaign Headquarters at 4328 Geary Boulevard near 7th Avenue in the Inner Richmond District. The celebration featured rousing speeches from Eric and prominent neighborhood leaders including Dennis Kelly, President of United Educators of San Francisco, Richard Hanson, President of the Richmond District Democratic Club and Susan Vaughan, progressive activist and artist.
Eric stated, “our campaign headquarters will be bustling with activity over the next four months as we run an inclusive volunteer-driven campaign that celebrates the diversity of our neighborhood and city.” Eric also thanked supporters who loaned furniture, equipment and supplies “allowing us to quickly open the headquarters and begin using it as an important resource for our campaign.”
