      Feb 46PM: Chinese for Affirmative Action Membership Meeting
      On Wednesday, February 4th, CAA will be leading a discussion with newly-elected San Francisco Board of Supervisors President David Chiu, Supervisor Carmen Chu, and Supervisor Eric Mar.

      As Barack Obama begins his historic presidency, and they start their terms on the first ‘majority minority’ San Francisco Board of Supervisors, we want to hear them share their thoughts on the changing complexion of political leadership. How will traditionally marginalized groups fare? What does this mean for civil rights and social change advocacy? How can diverse communities come together for common cause?

      Held at SPUR, 312 Sutter St. (at Grant), Fifth Floor. We are located close to the Powell St. BART station and several Muni lines.
      SPUR forums and receptions are open to the public, free for members and for non-members.

      Eric is the newly elected Supervisor from District 1, representing the Richmond district, for the most part. Hear about the Supervisor's priorities and share your own ideas for him and the rest of the new Board of Supervisors.
